Kicking off a new series, Weekly update now, to stay in keeping with the newer blog format.

Matt's back, and he's been busy...    By Matt

Hi guys, Matt here…   It’s been a long time since I posted! So since my last post, 6 months ago, I've bought a lot of warhammer and played a lot of games. However, this is but a ‘short’ update, with a brief description of everything I have in the works at the minute...

Proxies and Alternatives...     By Kill3rkrok

Hi guys, Kill3rkrok here, in my opinion there are 3 main reasons to proxy; learning, aesthetics and list building.
Proxy models... Yey or Ney?
I'm going to try and cover all of them in this post, This has been brought on by me looking into the miniatures that GW sell and wanting to add a certain 'flavour'  to the force that I will be running. But to proxy, character building? or paltry faux pas?

The competition goes from strength to strength, as the second prize is won by Hell-Bane:

There are still 3 more weekends till christmas, which means that there will be 3 more giveaways. They will be at 8pm GMT (Midday PST / 4pm EST) on the following saturdays:
6th December: Master of Sanctity by Gav thorpe.
13th December: Necron Annihilation Barge.
20th December: Signed copy of the Emperors Will, Agents of the Imperium by John Blanche

We also asked you guys what you would like to see here on the blog:
What would you like to see... By Zarak

Another short update again, first off, i would just like to say thank you for making last month a record for us here at Allies of convenience. It's really nice to see that there are actually some readers out there, and i really didn't expect all this so soon. Thank you.

Now that the soppy stuff is out the way, I thought I may as well ask you guys what you want to see on this blog...

Next week, we should have some tutorials on how to make scenery with Matt and Kill3rkrok, as well as discussions, model showcases and more competitions.

Leave your comments below if this style of post is welcome.

Thanks, Zarak.
